Two ways to picture an atom
The Bohr model draws electrons as dots orbiting on fixed rings, like planets around a star. It's simple, visual, and historically important — and it's a teaching model, not how electrons actually behave.
Quantum mechanics replaces the rings with something stranger: probability.
